In acquiring 19 individual printing and reproduction companies around the country, Kelmscott Communications needed a uniform branding system that was easily recognizable as part of their network, yet allowed each company to stand on its own. Our design of the new sub-brand identities, inspired by Kelmscott's existing logo, features a color palette, logo, and system of grids that provides the flexibility to meet each company's individual needs. A unique name and color combination ensure greater buy-in from each acquired company as well as uniformity of branding. We then provided a comprehensive style guide to each company specifying the use of its new identity across a variety of media.
